Who should participate?
The right participants depend on your organization and objectives. Not every participant needs to attend every activity.
What should we prepare before the engagement?
We will ask for available information about your business priorities, current AI initiatives, technology environment, data, governance, security requirements, and known opportunities or concerns. You do not need to prepare a complete AI inventory before the engagement. Identifying what is already happening is part of the work.
What will we receive?
Deliverables vary by engagement level, but may include a current-state assessment, prioritized use-case portfolio, value and feasibility analysis, security and governance requirements, investment recommendations, accountable owners, decision gates, and a sequenced roadmap. The objective is to give your leadership team a clear basis for deciding what to fund, what to stop, and what happens next.
How are cybersecurity, privacy, and governance addressed?
They are considered from the beginning, not added after priorities have been selected. How long does the engagement take?
Jumpstart Focus takes 1 to 2 days. Jumpstart Blueprint generally takes 7 to 10 days. Jumpstart Enterprise takes 3 weeks or more, depending on organizational complexity and scope. Engagements can be delivered in person, virtually, or through a hybrid approach.
How much does AI Strategy Jumpstart cost?
Jumpstart Focus is offered at a fixed price of $5,000. Jumpstart Blueprint and Jumpstart Enterprise are custom scoped and priced based on the number of stakeholders, business units, required analysis, and expected deliverables. Scope and pricing are agreed before the engagement begins.
What happens after the roadmap is complete?
You can execute the roadmap with your internal team, other providers, or continue working with bostoncyberx. When needed, we can help with rapid prototyping, proof of value, architecture, implementation, security, adoption, scaling, and ongoing operations.
When might this not be the right engagement?
AI Strategy Jumpstart is not a technology demonstration or a substitute for leadership participation. If you have already approved a specific use case and only need to prove or implement it, an AI Value Accelerator or implementation engagement may be a better starting point.
What happens during the discovery call?
You will spend 30 minutes with a senior practitioner discussing what your organization is trying to accomplish, what AI activity is already underway, and what is preventing progress. There is no obligation. The purpose is to determine whether AI Strategy Jumpstart fits your situation and, if so, which engagement level makes sense.
